Ascend Services out of Manitowoc is preparing to host their fourth annual 5k Run, Walk & Roll Fundraiser, sponsored by numerous area businesses.
This is one of Ascends major fundraisers for the year and every dollar raised goes back into programs for people with exceptional abilities.
This year there are three ways to participate: in person at Lincoln Park on October 10, virtually, October 10-17, or for those who want to join in the fun without breaking a sweat, sign up for the 0.0 “run”.
If you choose to participate virtually, run on a treadmill, hike a trail or walk around your own neighborhood on your time, your own way.
Advanced Entertainment DJ Services will be providing music during the event.
