The woman who claimed to have brought a bomb to the Austin Straubel Airport in Green Bay back in 2018 will be receiving psychiatric treatment.
49-year-old Rebecca Lockwood was found not guilt by reason of mental disease for the incident which occurred on October 27th, 2018.
The criminal complaint states that Lockwood was at the airport and refused to let a security officer look in her bag, telling him, “I have a bomb in my bag.” A search of the bag determined that was a lie.
While in court on Wednesday, Lockwood apologized for her actions, and claimed that she was in a much better place mentally now than she was at the time of the incident.
