Officials at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire say 184 students in six residence hall wings will have to stay quarantined in their rooms for the next 14 days.
The precaution is being taken because students testing positive for COVID-19 may have had interactions with others living in the dorms.
The residence halls affected haven’t been named.
School officials say 69 students have tested positive so far, with 17 living on-campus and 52 living off-campus.
None are hospitalized.
The dozens of students in quarantine reportedly aren’t sick and are not showing symptoms.
