A truck crashed over the edge of the cliff on Lakeside Blvd on Friday in Manitowoc.
A witness says the truck was moving east on Manitou at a high rate of speed when it hit a utility pole, several concrete posts and busted through the cabling before coming to rest near the bottom of the cliff. Manitowoc Police and Fire Department responded to the scene, the cause of the event and condition of the driver is unknown.
The vehicle has been removed from the crash scene.
