Wauwatosa city leaders are condemning racist messages that have appeared recently.
Mayor Dennis McBride held a Thursday news conference denouncing letters saying, “Keep Wauwatosa white.” McBride urged the person spreading the message to leave his city. The letters said things like, “We whites must stay together.” At least four residents in the city reported getting the letters.
Wauwatosa police have asked anyone that knows who is responsible to contact them.
