The Manitowoc Police Department has released their 2019 Annual report, which included a full breakdown of police activity.
The total number of calls for service dropped by over 400 calls, totaling 32,113, however more of those calls generated incidents.
A total of 19,320 incidents were generated, with 942 of them classified as Part 1 crimes.
This includes 6 forceable rapes, 5 robberies, 284 assaults, 45 burglaries, and 1 case of arson among other crimes.
The MPD also responded to a total of 1,297 accidents, with 632 resulting in property damage, and 25 of them involving deer.
