The Wisconsin Badgers football program has offered a scholarship to a four-star defensive back from Southeast Polk High School in Altoona, Iowa.
Xavier Nwankpa is Iowa’s number-two high school prospect and is ranked the 9th-best safety in the country.
He’s listed as 6′ 2″ and 175 pounds and already has a reputation as a hard-hitter.
Nwankpa has six interceptions in two years of varsity competition.
The Badgers are said to be building a reputation as a program that develops outstanding safeties.
