More details have been released in a murder case being investigated in Ashwaubenon.
Yesterday we reported that the Ashwaubenon Police Department arrested 46-year-old Dennis Sutrick, who we incorrectly claimed was from the city. He is actually from Oconto Falls.
A criminal complaint states that Police were called to the Motel 6 on Ramada Way at around 8:30 AM last Friday on a report of an unresponsive woman.
Sutrick met the officers at the door and told them his girlfriend was in their room. Life saving measures were taken, and the victim was taken to a local hospital.
Hospital staff informed officers that the victim was brain dead due to traumatic injuries to the head, including a broken eye socket.
She later died. Officials arrested Sutrick on a charge of 1st Degree Intentional Homicide and he is being held in the Brown County Jail on a $1 million cash bond.
