Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden will meet with Jacob Blake’s family in Kenosha today (Thursday).
Blake was shot by a Kenosha police officer 11 days ago, setting off violence and protests that caused at least two million dollars in damages.
Biden said Wednesday the Kenosha officers should be charged for the shooting.
The visit is the first to Wisconsin by a Democratic presidential nominee in more than eight years.
Biden leads President Donald Trump by seven points in the most recent polling, but Hillary Clinton largely ignored Wisconsin four years ago and it’s thought she lost the state’s electoral votes as a result.
