Manitowoc’s public schools food service director has announced that free meals for all students will be extended through the end of the year.
Janelle Schultz in a letter to district families said the US Department of Agriculture is extending the nationwide program through the end of the year or until funding runs out. This includes allowing parents and guardians to pick up meals for their children. Meals can be served outside of the typically required group settings and meal times.
Schultz said the curbside pickup schedule for Lincoln High School is Monday through Friday from 9 AM. to 9:30 AM. at Washington and Wilson Middle Schools. The hours are staggered through the week, with the schedule in the letter to families.
