Citing the current health crisis, the Sheboygan County Food Bank has decided to postpone their 4th Annual Holiday Lights Hunger Run/Walk.
The major fundraising event, which was scheduled for November 21st, will now be taking place next year.
Food Bank Executive Director Patrick Boyle said in a news release, “The Holiday Lights Hunger Run/Walk is Sheboygan County Food Bank’s single, annual event and a significant fundraiser that we now depend on. In the first three years of the event, we received about $70,000 in revenue and were projecting over $30,000 in net income for 2020.”
He also said that they serve an estimated 9,465, which is up about 286% since the start of the year.
