Orlando Arcia stroked a two-out, pinch-hit single in the eighth inning to drive in the winning run as the Brewers edged Pittsburgh 6-5.
Monday’s victory means Milwaukee took the series, three games out of four.
Second baseman Keston Hiura hit his eighth home run.
Brewers closer Josh Hader bounced back from a wild performance over the weekend where he walked five of the six batters he faced. Setting down three-in-a-row, Hader picked up his eighth save. He hasn’t allowed a hit this season.
Milwaukee returns home to send Josh Lindblom to the mound against Detroit at 6:40 p-m tonight (Tuesday).
