The Republican Party of Door County Office in Sturgeon Bay was heavily vandalized over the weekend.
Photos of the building show that the vandals spray painted things like “BLM”, “Hashtag Justice”, and derogatory terms about President Trump along the side of the building. Reports indicate that the damage was done Saturday night.
The Sturgeon Bay Police Department wrote in a statement, ““Everyone has different opinions, politics, viewpoints, etc. Often, people will express these views on their own property. These are established and guaranteed rights that EVERYONE has.”
Videos and photos have also been posted to Facebook of some younger people driving around Manitowoc and taking pro-Trump signs off people’s lawns.
A local resident also informed us that several pro-Biden signs being taken off peoples lawns as well.
