The Kenosha County Sheriff’s Office reports it has arrested 175 people during protests since the shooting of Jacob Blake.
The department says the arrests were for offenses like violating the temporary curfew, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest. The curfew is in effect through Wednesday. Protesters have violated it every night. Many businesses have been damaged or destroyed and two protesters were shot to death last Tuesday. Illinois teenager Kyle Rittenhouse has been charged with first-degree intentional homicide.
