6’ 11’ freshman Dawson Garcia will play a big role in the success of Marquette Golden Eagles basketball this winter.
He was ranked the number 32 player in the nation by 247Sports, scoring 32 points-a-game for Prior Lake, Minnesota.
He’s being compared to the last top-ranked prospect to come to Marquette – Henry Ellenson.
His presence means the Golden Eagles will have a starting lineup with legitimate size for the first time in five seasons.
Marquette has to replace three starters – including two-time All-American Markus Howard – and the team’s “look” is going to be very different when it takes the court.
