
Around 1,200 residents and businesses on the near south side of Manitowoc were without power for a little over an hour on Saturday after a vehicle crashed into a power pole.
According to Daniel Salm from Manitowoc Public Utilities, the accident happened near the Post Office in the 1200 block of Franklin Street at around 8:30 PM.
Crews were able to restore power at around 9:50 PM.
Manitowoc Police have not released any information on what caused the accident, the condition of the driver involved, or if any charges are pending.
