The current president of the Manitowoc County Board of Realtors says sales of existing homes locally show a brisk market.
Peggy Kadow, a Broker Associate for RE/MAX Port Cities Realtors, tells SeehaferNews.com that inventory is low, prices are rising and they have people looking to move here from out-of-state or within Wisconsin. Sales of existing homes last month increased to 124 from 89 for July of 2019. Kadow said another bit of good news for homebuyers is that 30-year fixed mortgage rates dropped to a record low.
The challenge though for them and consumers is a low inventory of properties on the market and trying to find a house for somebody.
