More details about what happened in Kenosha over the weekend have been released.
Officials have identified the officer involved in the shooting of Jacob Blake as seven year veteran of the Kenosha Police Department, Officer Rusten Sheskey.
The report also confirmed that Officer Sheskey used a taser of Blake prior to using his firearm, but it was not successful in taking him down.
The Department of Justice also confirmed that Blake had a knife in his car, under the front seat of his car. Blake reportedly admitted this to the investigating officers.
The investigation into the shooting remains ongoing, and no charges have been filed at this time.
