At least five N-C-A-A committees will be meeting over the next three days to discuss when the college basketball season will start.
A report on C-B-S Sports indicates four dates are being considered between November 10th – the current start date – and December 4th.
As it stands now, teams would be allowed to start practices for the season September 29th.
It isn’t clear if any decisions will be made by the end of this week.
One report says starting the college basketball season around Thanksgiving has “gained a lot of traction” recently.
