The Lakeshore Technical College Foundation has really ramped up their scholarship efforts, as they have issued nearly 4 times the number they do on an average year.
According to reports, 585 scholarships were awarded by the foundation for the fall semester, when in a normal year that number would sit around 150.
Scholarships are not free however, so the LTC Foundation is conducting the “Save a Seat” campaign in order to raise money to continue to offer scholarships for adults looking to continue their education.
Their goal is to raise $100,000 by September 30th.
