The City of Manitowoc has announced that the next film to be show in the Movie in the Park series will be Remember the Titans.
This Denzel Washington staring film was released in 2000, and tells the true story of Herman Boone, a black man who was hired to coach a football team at a mixed race high school in 1971. The team undergoes a training camp, where they learn that despite their differences, they are a team, and need to work together to win.
The film, rated PG, will be shown at Washington Park at 8:00 PM on Friday, September 4th , following a preview of the Manitowoc Creed Video and the 150th Anniversary Video.
