A 36-Year-old Manitowoc man pleads “not guilty” today (Monday) in connection to the deaths
of his two children in Kaukauna earlier this year.
Matthew Beyer was arrested in June after five-year-old William Beyer and his three-year-old sister Danielle were found dead in their home February 17th. He’s been charged with two counts of first-degree intentional homicide.
The criminal complaint says witnesses and security cameras placed someone matching Beyer’s description at the Cooks Avenue home. Police found the lifeless bodies of the two children with what were described as “noticeable injuries” to their necks. Multiple interviews-including one with Beyer led to his June arrest and he remains in the Outagamie County Jail on $2.5 million cash bond with his 44next court appearance scheduled for December 4th.
