The Manitowoc Police Department is asking the public to avoid the area of North 18th Street north of Menasha Avenue at this time, due to an active investigation.
We spoke with Deputy Chief Jason Fieboth earlier this morning, and he said that they are looking for someone, but would not elaborate any further.
The public is not believed to be in any danger at this time.
More information is expected to be released in the next couple of hours.
