Politics are a divisive topic.
That is not an outlandish statement to make, but some people are taking their allegiances a little too far, and either vandalizing, or stealing campaign signs.
Earlier this summer in Manitowoc, the pro-Donald Trump sign on Memorial Drive was vandalized, while in Kewaunee County, a pro-Joe Biden sign had his name ripped off of it within 24 hours of it being put up.
Both sides are participating in the criminal act, which is not just affecting big billboard signs.
Many people have reported that the yard signs that are on their personal property have been stolen as well.
