Hundreds of masked protesters filled part of Milwaukee’s Red Arrow Park Thursday.
The action during the Democratic National Convention was in support of the Black Lives Matter movement.
Dontre Hamilton was shot to death by a Milwaukee police officer in that park six years ago.
His mother told the court marching and protesting wouldn’t stop in Wisconsin’s largest city until President Donald Trump is voted out of office.
Earlier in the day, another group of protesters assembled outside the Milwaukee Secure Detention Facility advocating for protections for people held in jail.
Organizers said they wanted to make sure Democrats heard their voices.
