All the Packers – coaches and players – were holding their breath Wednesday when Davante Adams was left lying on his back during a workout.
He walked carefully off the field and left the team’s second day of work in pads. Adams did return for a walk-through later.
The tense moment came a day after defensive tackle Montravius Adams had to be carried off with a toe injury.
Tight end Marcedes Lewis and linebacker Za’Darius Smith didn’t put on the pads.
Coach Matt LaFleur says he’ll give them a few days to get right, just like last year. The Packers just want to be ready for week one.
