The Manitowoc Police Department have filed charges against an 18-year-old woman after she reportedly attacked her mother this past weekend.
Officers were sent to the victim’s home in the 700 block of North 10th Street at around 5:30 PM on Sunday, when she reported the attack.
She told the officer that her daughter, who lives with her, had gotten into the drug scene, and has been using a lot recently. She said that she appeared to be under the influence on that day and became verbally aggressive towards her.
As the suspect began to leave the home with a child, the victim attempted to get her to stay, fearing she was not in the proper condition to care for the child. The suspect then allegedly turned around and headbutted her mother before stomping on her foot.
The suspect has not yet been located, so the charge of Simple Battery with a Domestic Violence Order was forwarded to the District Attorney’s Office.
