Milwaukee starter Brett Anderson held the Twins to a single run in six solid innings and the Brewers belted four home runs in Wednesday’s 9-3 win at Minnesota.
Ryan Braun, Christian Yelich, Keston Hiura and Avisail Garcia had long balls for manager Craig Counsell’s team while Anderson earned his first victory.
The win evened Milwaukee’s record at 11-and-11 and the Brewers picked up a half-game on the Cubs in the N-L Central Division standings.
Brandon Woodruff tries to bounce back from a subpar outing when he starts today’s (Thursday’s) series finale at Target Field against the Twins.
The game will join in progress on 107.9 FM WOMT and at WOMTRadio.com following the Bucks/Magic game.
