Byron Buxton scored the winning run on an infield single, giving the Minnesota Twins a 4-3 victory in 12 innings Tuesday night.
The teams combined for just 10 hits as Milwaukee’s three-game winning streak was snapped.
Milwaukee trailed 3-0 as Twins pitcher Kenta Maaeda carried a no-hitter into the top of the 9th, before Eric Sogard broke up the gem and ignited a 3 run rally to send the game to extra innnings.
Corbin Burnes started and threw an effective five innings, allowing just two hits. David Phelps gave up the deciding run in the 12th.
