The Hunger Ball of Sheboygan County board of directors is matching up to $15,000 for donations made to Sheboygan County Food Bank now through September 30, 2020.
The Hunger Ball of Sheboygan County is a non-profit organization that is entirely coordinated by caring community members who volunteer their time, talents, and skills to exclusively fundraise for Sheboygan County Food Bank and food pantries located in Sheboygan County.
In the past, Sheboygan County Food Bank has been the recipient of significant Hunger Ball of Sheboygan County donations that have supported many of our efforts. These efforts range from our Food for Thought backpack program that provides healthy weekend food for elementary students, to our more recently launched Sheboygan County Hunger Relief Food Fund that funds food purchases during the effects of COVID-19 in our community.
Sheboygan County Food Bank is dedicated to addressing the emergency food needs of Sheboygan County residents. In the wake of the COVID-19 crisis, our latest statistics show that 53% more of our neighbors have become dependent on emergency food distribution services. Our primary focus continues to be to safely deliver targeted emergency food to our partners, including food pantries, shelters, low-income senior housing sites, schools, and other organizations.
If you would like to donate money now and double your impact, we gratefully accept checks made payable to “Sheboygan County Food Bank” and mailed to our location, 3115 N. 21 St., Suite 1, Sheboygan, WI 53083. Online donations can also be made at SheboyganCountyFoodBank.com.
Donating money is the easiest, safest way to help so that we can remain serving seniors, children, and families throughout Sheboygan County, now, as we navigate this health crisis, and beyond – ensuring no one in Sheboygan County goes hungry. Special thanks to our friends on the Hunger Ball of Sheboygan County board for their generosity and giving our community an incredible opportunity to make a positive difference for our neighbors in need.
