A Menasha man is facing charges after an incident at a Green Bay gas station over the weekend.
Reports indicate that 31-year-old Christopher Lo was loitering around the Grand Central Shell station on East Mason Street in Green Bay around 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. He had taken some items out of a cooler and began taking them to the bathroom.
A woman who was standing nearby reported the theft to the cashier that he had stolen some items. Lo then cursed at the woman, which caused her 69-year-old husband to say, “You don’t talk to my wife that way.”
Lo then reportedly walked up to the man, and punched him in the face, causing him to fall backwards and hit his head on the ground.
Blood began to come out the back of his head, and Lo fled the scene.
Lo was caught by two witnesses who restrained him until the officers arrived. He is now facing charges of Disorderly Conduct, and Aggravated Battery with a modifier of Crime against an Elderly or Disabled Person.
