A Kenosha County judge has set the bond for a man accused of trying to kill Police Officer Justin Pruett at $1 million.
Pruett was wounded 10 days ago when he stopped to talk to 29-year-old Jonathan Massey.
Pruett reportedly told the court Monday he is worried his life would be in danger if Massey doesn’t remain in jail.
Massey was taken into custody in Indiana last week.
Authorities say he went to a friend to have a gunshot wound treated rather than going to a hospital.
