Green Bay Packers coach Matt LaFleur keeps talking about using rookie Josiah Deguara all over the field, lining him up anywhere along the line or in the backfield, using him as a blocker or passing target.
The Packers drafted the Tight End in the third round of the 2020 N-F-L Draft.
PackersWire reports LaFleur thinks he can use Deguara to enhance the Packers’ efforts to be deceptive just before the ball is snapped. The only challenge seems to be getting the rookie ready to fill all those roles.
Playing tight end as a first-year player in the N-F-L isn’t easy – and that gets going Saturday when the Packers officially start their first training camp practice.
