Madison police have confirmed the 11-year-old girl shot in the head Tuesday has died.
The family had announced that Anisa Scott would be taken off life support Thursday morning. The child’s death is Madison’s 10th homicide this year.
Scott was a passenger in a car when a person in another vehicle opened fire. Investigators think the driver of her car was the intended target.
No arrests have been made and police have identified no persons of interest in the case.
