A jury has found a Green Bay man guilty of killing his ex-girlfriend and her mother in Hobart in 2016.
Jacob Cayer had denied killing Sabrina and Heesun “Sunny” Teague and entered not guilty and not guilty by reason of mental disease or defect pleas on the six charges he was facing.
According to witness testimony, Cayer had broken into the Teague home through a window and killed the 63-year-old mother with a tire iron, before killing Sabrina and stabbing another individual.
Cayer was found guilty on two counts of First-Degree Intentional Homicide, Attempted Homicide, Burglary, and two counts of Bail Jumping.
