Today is the Partisan Primary Election in Wisconsin, and the Manitowoc Board of Canvassers met this morning to begin canvassing absentee ballots.
The Board began)canvassing those ballots from Wards 1 through 30 at 7:30 this morning in the Council Chambers in City Hall.
The only contested race on the ballot locally is for the 6TH District Congressional seat, with Oshkosh residents Michael Beardsley and Jessica King, as well as Mathew Boor of Cleveland fighting for the Democratic nomination to face Congressman Glen Grothman in the November election.
If you are unsure of where you are supposed to go to vote, you can either go to MyVote.wi.gov and click of “Find My Polling Place” or call the City Clerk’s office at 686-6950.
