An officer-involved shooting in St. Croix Falls leaves one man dead. Officers were responding to a 9-1-1 call from a woman at a motel.
When they arrived, they met a man holding a knife who refused several commands to drop the weapon. When he rushed at one of the officers, he was shot and died before he could be helped.
The woman was airlifted to a hospital with several stab wounds to her neck and chest.
Her medical condition hasn’t been released and neither of the participants has been identified.
