Law enforcement officials in southeastern Wisconsin are searching for a suspect who wounded a Kenosha police officer.
The officer is expected to survive, is being treated at a hospital for his injuries.
He was responding early Saturday morning to a 9-1-1 report of two persons breaking into vehicles.
The man who called says he saw the suspects going through cars in his neighborhood.
The Wisconsin Division of Criminal Investigation is handling the case. No names have been released.
