Hundreds of anti-mask protesters say their Saturday rally at the State Capitol was about freedom, not politics.
They gathered to show their opposition to what participants were calling “government overreach” by the face mask mandate issued by Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers.
One speaker questioned how effective masks are, adding, “Just because a health official says something does not make it true.”
The Institute for Health Metrics is projecting nearly three-thousand Wisconsin deaths related to the virus by December, but only half that number if people obey the mandate.
