A federal judge deciding whether to make changes to Wisconsin’s election laws says he doesn’t want to hear about the importance of the presidential election.
Judge William Conley says his decision will be based solely on how the coronavirus pandemic will affect voting rights.
It doesn’t matter than Wisconsin is considered an important “swing-state” and he doesn’t want the attorneys to talk about it.
Conley has hinted that he will extend voting and registration deadlines as he did for the April election.
He is expected to make his ruling by the end of the month, so his decision won’t affect next Tuesday’s primary for congressional and legislative seats.
