Road America and the Midwestern Council of Sports Car Clubs (MCSCC) has announced that their special Spec Miata 60-minute enduro Race to Save the Children event held this past weekend raised $3,200 for COVID-19 relief.
The MCSCC accepted donations through participant registration, sold T-shirts and facemasks and $10 of every entry also went to bolster the charitable cause.
In all, 51 Miata’s made the grid for the 60-minute Race to Save the Children enduro, and the majority took the checkered flag following a rainy start. Despite the wet conditions, the racing was intense, and in the end Voytek Burdzy took the win by slightly more than one second over Tyler Brown.
