The Green Bay Packers have claimed fullback John Lovett off waivers from the Super Bowl Champion Kansas City Chiefs.
Lovett is a 234-pound second-year player out of Princeton who spent his rookie year on injured reserve.
Lovett was Princeton’s first two-time first-team All-American since Keith Elias after he quarterbacked the Tigers to their first perfect season in more than five decades.
He will wear uniform number 45 for Green Bay.
