Two City groups are scheduled to meet this evening in the city of Manitowoc.
First up is the Board of Public Works, who will convene at 4:00 PM in the Council Chambers in City Hall. After going over pay estimates for various engineering and public works projects, the Board will go over an agreement with Thor Industrial Services to replace the decking on the east side of the 8th Street Bridge. The project is expected to cost $7,200.
Then at 5:30 PM, the Public Infrastructure Committee will take over the Council Chambers. They will be discussing flooding concerns in the 900 block of North 5th Street, as well as a request for a crosswalk on South 29th Street in the block of Halverson Park. They will also be re-looking over the rules for planting of gravestone flowers at Evergreen Cemetery.
