Milwaukee Police Chief Alfonso Morales says his department is ready to handle any protests without using tear gas.
Right now, it’s not clear how many people will show up for the scaled-back Democratic National Convention set to start August 17th.
Original estimates had 50,000 delegates and other participants heading for Milwaukee.
That figure has been scaled back – in some cases – as low as 300.
There’s no way to anticipate how many protesters will descend on Milwaukee.
