If you needed a reminder as to why having a clean home is important, a report from the Green Bay Fire Department may motivate you a little.
Reports indicate that a fire broke out at a home in the 800 block of 9th Street at around 7:30 Monday morning, and upon arrival, crews located the blaze in a second-floor bedroom.
It was noted in the report that the conditions of the home made battling the fire rather difficult, as the home had what weas termed “hoarding conditions”.
Crews were able to extinguish the fire, but not before it caused roughly $50,000 in damage, and a firefighter received a hand laceration.
No word on what caused the fire.
