Citizen Park is busier than normal this weekend with the “War on the Shore” Girls Fastpitch Softball Tournament being hosted there.
Curt Hall is City of Manitowoc Parks and Recreation Division Manager, and he told SeehaferNews.com there are over 60 teams taking part in the tournament, with games continuing through Sunday.
Hall tells us while spectators are welcome, some COVID-related restrictions are in place. “Spectators are being asked to sit outside along the outfield fence and bring their own chairs” he explained. “We are trying to limit public seating.”
The War on the Shore Tournament is being run by nonprofit organization, Two Rivers Youth Sports, at the Manitowoc Youth Sports Complex.
