Today marks the official start of operations for the Manitowoc area’s first new hotel in 20-years.
The Cobblestone Hotel opens in downtown Two Rivers at the corner of 16th and Jefferson Streets.
The director of franchise development for the Neenah-based company, Anna Jakubek, says they’ve been accepting reservations at the waterfront inn, which was spearheaded by local developers and business partners Rick Carey & Ross Niemi.
The duo had planned to open their hotel in June in time for large local and regional events, but COVID-19 related cancellations delayed the opening.
Cobblestone Hotel officials are planning an August 20th grand opening celebration.
