There will be a 9 day gun deer season held at a pair of wildlife preserves in Brown County, however only a limited number of people will be permitted to hunt.
The hunters will be chosen via a random drawing for the hunt which will take place on the Barkhausen Waterfowl Preserve and Fort Howard Paper Foundation Wildlife Area.
Applicants may register for the drawing as an individual, or as a group of no more than three, but cannot apply for both locations.
Registration for the drawing will take place between August 1-15, 2020 by calling Barkhausen at (920) 434-2824. Names for the drawing will be taken only during that time frame.
