
Several people are injured following a two-vehicle head on crash in Door County last night.
Chief Deputy Patrick McCarty of the Door County Sheriff’s Department says deputies responded to the initial call just before 9 p.m. on Highway 42 just south of Cottage Row in the Town of Gibraltar.
A male driver, the lone occupant of one vehicle, was transported to a hospital with life threatening injuries while the female driver along with two occupants in her vehicle are being treated for undisclosed injuries.
Highway 42 was closed for approximately two-and-a-half-hours while authorities cleared the scene about 2 a.m. this morning.
No other details-including those involved-are being released at this time pending the completion of the investigation.
