A Shorewood attorney accused of spitting on a black protester is pleading not guilty to battery and disorderly conduct.
64-year-old Stephanie Rapkin was seen on video spitting on high school student Eric Lucas when racial justice protesters asked her to move her car on June 6th.
Police went to Rapkinās home the next day and she resisted arrest and kneed an officer in the groin.
Her lawyer also filed motions Wednesday for a change or venue and for a hate crime enhancer to be dismissed.
Rapkin is scheduled to appear in court again in September.
